My favorite serie " CSI: Miami"

Hi!!! Now I’m going to talk about a serie named CSI: MIAMI because I like to watch it and if you decide to watch it, you’ll love it like me.

Let me tell something about it, first I’ll tell a synopsis of CSI. CSI is the acronym (Crime Scene Investigation). It’s a serie that talks about mysterious murders and deaths committed; some forensic scientists try to find out them. These Scientifics who serve the Miami Police Department, they are a team and investigate to determine who killed the victims and why. The serie focuses on a single case which all the team works to find the murderer. CSI is a kind of crime drama that you must watch; in addition CSI: Miami has been named the World's Most Popular TV Show seeing in worldwide.

CSI is starring by Horatio Crane who uses many scientific methods with more advanced techniques, Horatio and his group of researchers will need to resolve cases submitted to them.

I decided to talk about it because I think that CSI can be interesting for ones who like the series about crimes.

If you are the ones who would want to stay glued to the television, I recommend that you watch it and I’m sure, you‘ll love it.

The worst anecdote of my life.

HELLO!! I’m here again with another story about me, now this one is about an anecdote I had 14 years ago, it was many years ago but I remembered it as if it was yesterday.

I would start by telling you that I was with my brother at the supermarket “Supertiendas modelo “was the name of the market. The day began when my mother took us to go shopping with her, after buying all the groceries, we went to the section of the ham and sausages and sometimes they had sausage’s stew , how it was free, my brother and me decided eating something to taste it. Then we did a competition between us to see who ate more, at that moment my mother was asking for the ham while she was busy, we began to eat, I was swallowing the stew too fast and my brother too, suddenly a big piece of sausage stuck in my throat. I was choking and could not breathe, and my face was getting purple. When my mother saw me, she gave the first aid quickly and I could throw the sausage out. I WAS SO SCARY because it was the first time this has happened to me.

And believe me it’s an anecdote I don’t want to remember.

Espacio 2008 in Tampico.

I’d like to share some News about Espacio 2008.

What is Espacio 2008?

Let me start by telling you its meaning, it’s a red of youth forums, created by TELEVISA where the young people analyze, interaction with others and discuss many actual topics about national and international.

Espacio has the purpose of giving the opportunities to make the progress in our society which causes individuals who take part of the solutions to resolve the problems in the society.

Let me tell you that Espacio 2008 is going to be here in Tampico, in June 2, begins with many lectures where the best journalists give them and the important companies in Mexico sponsor Espacio. This event is so interesting for those ones who concerns about the future our community and TELEVISA produces it once a year in different parts of the Mexican republic, now it is going to take place in Tampico this year we have the opportunity to go and learn a lot of it.

If you want to go to Espacio you have to enter to its web site and fill all the information, and they will send you an e-mail with your confirmation. Only you can pass one day of the week, but the most important thing about Espacio, is that it's free.

But quickly because the inscriptions are until May 16, 2008 unless you register, you can not enter; besides you have to bring your student card and a gafet that they give you in your e-mail, to go to the lectures.

Saint Seiya !!!!!!!!

Hi!! Now I’m going to talk about the manga, but what is manga?

The manga are Japanese comic books, a manga is made into cartoons, or anime and it can be translated into English like “humorous pictures”.

What is the reason that I am talking about it? I LOVE MANGA!!!! That’s the reason.

The manga I like the best is Saint Seiya; the story of this manga is about five knights who fight against the enemies of Athena the Earth’s goddess. Athena and her knights protect the mankind against others gods that intent to destroy the planet by using their powers. The Athena’s knights have many troubles during each stage because they try to defend her and defeat the enemy.

The knights nearly die in each fight because they use their energies trying to eliminate the threat. This manga has around 114 chapters and it was created between 1986 and 1988 in Japan besides it has 12 OVAS, in other words “movies” which were very successful in that country.

Seiya is the main character in the manga, for that reason it uses his name. He is in love with Athena and she too. But the differences between them are huge due to she is a goddess and Seiya is her watchman.

There are some things that I don’t like about this manga, the first one is the violence, during each stage the manga shows us too much violence, blood and the death of other knights, the second one is about the love of Seiya and Athena, it never shows us if their romance come true.

My cats

I’m going to talk an anecdote about my cats. First at all, I don’t agree that the humans abuse and mistreat the animals. But anyway I would start by telling you what these animals did.

My favorite animals are the cats. I have two in my house not here, but in Panuco where my father and my grandma live. I don’t have any cats here because the apartment is too small than my house in Panuco where I spend the weekends. Their names are Chiquito y Chiquita; we put them these names because my father found them, the cats were abandoned in the forest. When my father saw them, they caused him a feeling of sadness to see them there in the middle of the nothing.

Then she decided to take them at home, and feed them. At the beginning my grandma didn’t want them, but after a few days she became fond with them quickly. One night was raining so strong, the cats were outside and began to make noise and my grandmother permitted them to enter in the house. She came back to her bed and around midnight the cats were meowing, and she couldn’t sleep well, she decided to get up, but when she put a foot out of the bed, she saw a big dead snake on the floor named “ cuatro narices” I know that kind of snake is poisonous.

Since them my grandma treats and feeds them well.

The first day of my vacations

Hi! I’m here again, now with a story about how I spent my vacations. To begin with my trip to Victoria City, that day was awesome because my grandmother and my aunts came to my house close to Panuco. The trip began when we woke up early in the morning, then we put all of the luggage in the van, and around 8: oo am we left Panuco.

At the begging the way was so boring that I fell asleep but after an hour and a half, a noise from the luggage rack woke me up, I told to my aunt about it, and she discovered that the gasoline tank was leaking, quickly she stopped in a gas station near there and they repair the tank.

After that we continued our way, we arrived around 1:00 pm in the afternoon. All of our relatives were waiting for us, and mi cousins took us to the Victoria’s fair like here in Tampico, my brother and I rode all the games and my brother made sick because he had never ridden any of these ones.

In the end we spent all the afternoon in the fair and at night we has a big dinner with all the family , telling many stories and anecdotes about themselves.

The AIDS

I’m going to talk about another article; nowadays the AIDS is an important theme in the world because many people die every day for this terrible disease.

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS or Aids) is collection of symptoms and infections resulting of damage to the immune system cause by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in humans. Most researchers believe that HIV originated in sub-Saharan Africa during the twentieth century.

The aids became in a big epidemic in the century XX, and many scientists think that this disease will continue expanding all over the world in the next years. The bad conditions, the lack of sexual education of the people have caused the growth of this disease.

This one is transmitted principally by blood transfusion, Sexual contact and many others but if the woman is pregnant, she can infect her baby the disease through her blood.

These days, there is not any vaccine or cure for the AIDS, the only methods is using an antiretroviral treatment but this one is to slow the aids, due to AIDS is very aggressive and fast.

And many infected people are discriminated for others, even they lose their jobs because of AIDS and no one wants to hire them.

Please take care of yourself, be careful when you are receiving a blood transfusion or having sexual contact, because this disease can take you to the death.

Patrick Dempsey

I’m here again with another article about Patrick Dempsey.
But who is he?
It’s a good question.

He was born in January 13, 1966 in Lewiston, Maine and grew up in Turner, Maine. His career began when an agent discovered him and invited to audition for a role in the stage production of Torch Song Trilogy. The Dempsey’s first major feature film role was at age 21 with Beverly D'Angelo in the movie In the Mood.

Since 1990 he has appeared in many television mini series like Will & Grace, Once & Again, Emmy, etc. In 2004 he co-starred in the highly acclaimed HBO production, Iron Jawed Angels, opposite Hilary Swank and Anjelica Huston.

Dempsey has received significant public attention for his role as Dr. Derek Shepherd in the serie Grey's Anatomy.

Dempsey has been married twice, from 1987 to 1994 with the actress and acting coach Rochelle "Rocky" Parker who appeared in the movie the mood with him where they met. Dempsey remarried on July 31, 1999; his second wife is noted make-up artist and founder of Deluxe Beauty, Jillian Fink Dempsey.

His most recent roles are the 2007 Disney film Enchanted, and the Paramount Pictures film Freedom Writers where he reunites with his Iron Jawed Angels co-star Hilary Swank.

The Poverty

I’m going to talk about the poverty and hunger in the World; about 25,000 people die every day of hunger according to the United Nations. Unfortunately, the children die most often.

The population of our country is 70% poor and 80% live in the extreme poverty; some ones could be guilty for this situation, the government, international companies, unemployment, but the true is that no one is responsible while we, the people suffer the consequences.

The poverty is the condition where people lack something for example: resources and opportunities to satisfy their human necessities, the poor people can’t feed neither get dress although they don’t have medical assistance and jobs where they can get the money for their families.

We can fight against the poverty, if we do actions to help them like social programs or projects to benefit them, the situation can change, but in the real life the people who have this duty don’t worry to disappear with it.

If they have the chance to attend at school; they can survive because the education will help them to escape from hunger and poverty.

There are many organizations that helping to end the poverty , and these ones are comprise with many men and women who work long hours in the fight against the poverty like: action against hunger, ADRA international, Africare, American Jewish world service, American Red Cross, Americares, Australian Overseas Aid Program (AUSAID) and many others.

The Second Cultural and Academic Event of the B.A in English.

I’m going to talk about the second cultural and academic week of the licenciatura en Idioma Ingles, today Monday, March 10 Th begins with several lectures about different topics. For example, in the afternoon I saw a movie called “Billy Elliot “where there was a boy who wanted to be a great ballet dancer and his father didn’t want that for him because he thought that the dancing was for girls.

Then around 5: 00 pm, I was in another lecture where an American named Shannon Cole explained about Atlanta, capital of the New South. It was interesting because I learnt many thing about that state of the United States for example the history, the culture, customs, the problems of the city like the water, pollution.

And finally we went to the last lecture of the day with the Ing. Jose Luis Gonzalez de la Fuente, he is the Atimac`s president, the topic of his lecture was “Herramientas de la Traduccion” in which he talked about the competitivity of the translation, and the steps that a translator needs to follow in order to make a good work.

For me, it was the most interesting day because I learnt many things that I didn’t know.

The Canadian Seal Hunt

I’m going to talk about the violence with the Canadian kill the seals, every year when the spring begins; there is a big slaughter of mammals. Thousands of seals between 12 days and 12 moths die for blows due to the fur and their oil. For many years the slaughter has been hidden of the world. The commercial industry of seal’s fur has been increased during the years because many people like the fur coats. Harp seals are the target of this industry.

The seals hunt occurs on the ice of Canada's East Coast in two areas: the Gulf of St. Lawrence (west of Newfoundland and east of the Magdalene Islands) and the "Front" (northeast of Newfoundland).

The seals are killed by the fishermen from Canada's East Coast; they use wooden clubs, hakapiks (large ice-pick-like clubs) and guns to kill them.

It’s important to note that each killing method is demonstrably cruel. The fishermen kill the seals from moving boats causing them many grave wounds that are difficult to recover.

For that reason many organizations are fighting against this practice that is killing with the population of seals and if this slaughter continues like this, the seals will be extincted in the future.

Protect the seals, they are beautiful animals, we must take care of them, not kill them.

ENDANGERED SPECIES.

I’m here again, now I’m going to talk about the extinction of animals. The animal world is enormous and we don’t know how many species of animals there are. Around 1.5 millions of these have been named and described by the scientists.

Many of them live in various areas where is impossible to arrive and some animals are unknown for the scientists. Due to the increase in the human population and the Industrial Revolution, many animals have disappeared. The extinction is caused when the human destroys or interrupts their ecosystem.

Approximately, one in four vertebrate species of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds are in serious trouble because the humans have used their habitat, causing the overpopulation, deforestation and desertification of the ground.

If we want to avoid the extinction of the animals, we have to think and take better care of them because we need them to live. In fact there are many organizations that fight against the extinction. For example: Greenpeace is an independent organization which is concerned about the future of the planet.

Here there is a list of the animals in danger.

Polar Bears, Elephants, koalas, Hippopotamus, Pandas, Orcas, Tigers, panthers, Angel Shark, Pink Pigeon, White Tailed Eagle, and others more.

For that reason take care of the animals….. Don’t permit their extinction.

Learn about them and remember that the Extinction is for Ever!

My future goals

Everybody has future goals due to they want to achieve or realize something in their lives.
If you don’t have goals, you don’t be anything in the life, you’ll be a loser.

My future goals are:

 I hope to finish the career because if you don’t have a career how you’ll defend and nowadays is difficult to get a good job.

 I want to travel too thus I can learn new things about others cultures and customs, meet new people.

 In the future I plan to work in a school because I like working with kids although I ‘m in the elective subject of translation, I really want to work as English teacher.

 I’d like studying another career like engineering; I’m good at repairing computers.

 Another goal that I have is to go to United States in order to improve my English.

 Maybe in five years, I hope to find a special person who I have a lot in common with.

 I’d like to find a person who has a good sense of humor and with blue eyes.

My dream is to have a scholarship to study in other country, In England; I’ve always wanted to go to England. I wish I had money to pay me the trip and I’ll visit the architecture buildings and towns, it is my favorite place in the whole planet.

If you pursue your dreams everything comes true.

For that reason dare to dream!!!!!!

Do you smoke?

Have you ever stopped to think about how smoking is affecting your body and your life? I recently read an article on the internet about the smoking. The people know that the smoking is bad for their health but they keep smoking. Everybody knows that smoking can cause cancer; the article said that a cigarette contains about 4000 chemicals which the bad ones for your body are Nicotine, Carbon Monoxide and others. When you inhale smoke of a person who is smoking, you breath many of these chemicals, and is more dangerous for a person that breaths the smoke from a cigarette that a person that smokes it.

Many people like the feeling that smoking gives them, the article said that this feeling is for the effect of the nicotine, and many of them think that the cigarettes gives them the sense of independence and freedom.

In Mexico there is a new law against the smoking, for example you’re not allowed to smoke in public areas like schools, restaurants, etc.

Many people spend about $ 480 pesos per year on smoking.

Smoking can have serious effects on your life. Please try to avoid it. Don’t start smoking for influence from others. If they want to die soon is their life but don’t imitate them.

Fernando Colunga

I’m going to talk about one of the most gorgeous Mexican actor Fernando Colunga. I decided to talk about him because I’m his big fan. First I’m going to explain the details about his life.

He was born in Mexico City in March 3, 1966. His parents are Margarita Olivares and Fernando Colunga, he is one of the most quoted and charismatic actor in Mexico. He has worked in many soup operas, like "Maria Mercedes” where got his first starring. He has made about 20 successful soup operas, which have made him very important in all Latin America.

He studied civil engineering but he decided to work as actor because he had the temptation to be actor. He got his drama education at Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) of Televisa in 1990. He never speaks about his private life; he gets along well with the press, on the other hand he is one of the most famous actors in Mexico, he’s single. Can you believe it? He’s single…

His hobbies are to do exercise, read and go to the movies, but he prefers the motocross, having his own motorcycle, his favorite foods are the pizza and the salmon. He is in good shape because he does exercise everyday and eats healthy food like fruits and vegetables.

But the best of him is that he is a good person and actor for that reason the women like him…

Lucky hats and other fishing superstitions

Are myths and superstitions about fishing true? In this article says yes, I think that every fisherman is superstitious about something. For example the banana superstition, it is said that there are some critters lurked inside the banana and the anglers believe in this.

Another is about the lucky hats, if you had a lucky hat for a long time, it bring you good luck when you are going fishing. You’ll catch a lot of fish if you wear that hat.
The article says too, rabbits crossing your path were bad luck but I‘ve heard that the rabbits will bring you good luck, I don’t understand this superstition, it is very confused for me.

Other one is that its good luck to spit on your bait I think is disgusting to spit in your bait to catch fish but where did these superstitions leave? According to the article is merit to spit on the bait. You can use a spray-on fish attractant; it helps you to disguise a smell that the fish can’t resist.
The author mentions that he has a friend who is convinced that he won’t catch any fish unless he first spills a soft drink in his boat. It’s a waste to spill drinks.

The cameras are bad luck for them too, because if you take a camera aboard, you'll never catch a fish. They prefer to take pictures when they have captured a trophy fish.

THE MEETING

Last month , I met a special person, finally I saw my half sister Laura, I haven’t seen her because my father had her when I hadn’t been born yet. I was a little nervous because I have never seen her, but she knew me for pictures that my father gave her many pictures of my brother and me.

Fist, my father, my brother and I went to Matamoros because she lives and works there, we went to her house, I was impressed with her beautiful and big house, she received us well, she introduced herself, and then her family to us.

She has a kind husband named Robert and two nice children named Rose and Robert, I liked them due to I love the kids while my father was talking to her husband, my brother and me were seeing some pictures of them. After my half sister and me had a conversation about my life , my goals, likes , dislikes and asked me what I am studying. I was tense, talking with her because for me she’s a strange person, at the beginning my mother didn’t want that I met her but I insisted.

I spent a lot of time with them, I admitted that Laura and her family are nice but I need time to assimilate our relationship as sisters because this is new for me.

The Oscars`s Night

Yesterday February 24 was the delivery of the Oscars in Los Angeles, California. It was an amazing and exciting night because you are waiting the possible winners of the categories. The nominations were very fought, due to there were very good actors in them. For example in the category of Actor in a Leading Role were nominees: George Clooney for Michael Clayton , Daniel Day-Lewis for There Will Be Blood, Johnny Depp for Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and the winner was Daniel Day-Lewis. I wanted that George Clooney won the Oscar.

The category of Actress in a Leading Role were nominees: Cate Blanchet Elizabeth for The Golden Age, The French Marion Cotillard for La Vie en Rose, Ellen Page for Juno. And the winner was the French Marion Cotillard. In my opinion I didn’t like that actress I wanted that Ellen page won the Oscar too, but it was bad luck.
In the category of best movie were nominees: Juno, there will be blood, Michael Clayton and no country for old men, and the winner was no country for old man where the Spaniard Javier Bardem won an Oscar, being the first Spaniard who wins an Oscar.
My favorite movie was Juno because the topic of this movies is about a pregnant teenage who decides to give her baby for adoption. It’s an actual theme in our society for that reason I wanted that movie.

Two Worlds

This story is about a girl named Gabriela de Ferrari that writes about how their mother, her neighbor Señorita Laura, and her maid Saturnina look at the world. I understood about this story that Gabriela believes in curses and miracles, and her neighbor Señorita Laura told her many stories about them. Her stories are generally about ghost and souls. The Gabriela’s mother and Señorita Laura talked to each other constantly, but the way they look at the world is different, the Gabriela’s mother is more interested in having Gabriela worry about the school, and the Señorita Laura think about the fortune and miracles. Gabriela enjoys the stories of the Señorita Laura and after school she goes to her house to hear the stories. Also Gabriela has a maid named Saturnina who stays with her at night until she fells asleep because Gabriela can’t sleep for the Señorita Laura’s stories, and Saturnina believes in the fortune, miracles too.

Señorita Laura read her the fortune too, she use the wax of a candle into a big container of icy water when the water formed different shapes, Señorita Laura read them and tell her the fortune for the next week.

She said that Señorita Laura and the other maids use roots and herbs to perform any king of miracles, but I think they use them to charm someone.

The Sound of Silence.

I understood about the story that Dame Julie Elizabeth Andrews, (born Julia Elizabeth Wellson 1 October 1935 in England). An actress of the movie the sound of the music, had lost her voice due to she had a throat surgery to remove no-cancerous polyps from her vocal cords.
She was very famous for her voice, her career depended of it, after a while she returns to promote her first film after eight years. The article says that the last year Andrews has a legal battled with some gossips about her disappearance from the scenes, but she was in a painful therapy to try to recover her voice.
And her lawyers continue busy again now against the hospital in New York with two doctors. The lawyers say that the doctors didn’t warn her of the probably harm to her voice. She was unable to talk about certain things she said that the operation went wrong, my speaking voice has come back and she couldn’t yet sing a song.
In January she was made a dame in recognition for her career and her generous charity work. Although she can’t sing she will continue her career making movies and she is thankful to be alive, she hopes to recover her singing voice someday. And she will continue practicing it.

THE BOOK REPORT: Blackmailed by Diamonds, Bound by Marriage.

I recently read an interesting book; the story is about a girl named Angelina Littlewood. She was an archeologist from England who has the Brandizi diamond; an important jewel from Greece, her older sister had the diamond fist because she had stolen the diamond to Nikos Kyriacou, a successful Greek businessman, this jewel is very important for the Nikos`s family by its monetary and sentimental value. But the Angelina’s sister died in Greece carrying the diamond with her. And Nikos tries to recover the diamond that the Angelina’s has because she received the belongings of the sister from Greece discovering the jewel on them.

Angelina blames to Nikos for her sister’s death, and decides to get married with him, to punish him for her sister’s death with the condition to return the jewel. Nikos says yes, to punish her too for her attitude towards him, at the beginning the marriage was terrible because they always had discussions but after they were discovering their feelings, treating better, falling in love when Angelina discovers the truth about her sister, she was a selfish, calculating woman of bad feelings that did a lot of damage to Nikos, Angelina returns the diamond to Nikos and decides to leave of his life. She comes back to her home, but Nikos follows her and he apologized to her. Finally they reconcile and they return to Greece.

I like this story because is romantic and exciting at the same time. I imagine what the characters are doing in the story. It’s fantastic for me. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the romantic stories.

THE INTERNET

Many people use the Internet every day, for example in the United States about 84 million people have access at home. The increase comes because the computers and the internet services are cheaper these days. And more people are putting their photos, thoughts and video online due to the internet gives them these facilities. Sometimes we think that the internet is a way to transmit information to people, they get information about their interests. You can find whatever you want for example pictures, videos, songs, movies, comics, magazines, news, etc.

I think the internet is useful to do your homework because is easier and faster. But sometimes you must avoid web pages about pornography or chat sites, these pages only disturb your mind. The chat in my opinion is interesting when there are people who know English and help you to improve it , but sometimes there are people very rude and you can’t stand their conversations due to they use forbid vocabulary and that irritates you.

Some people spend too much time on the internet and not enough time reading a book, the internet affects their lives, and they become Internet addicts. It’s bad to them because they don’t do their activities as before, the internet has changed them.

The internet now is the most important thing in our life; it specially helps me in my study as a student, definitely we are benefited by it. Please make sure to use it correctly!!!!!

The Reading

Well, I think the reading is a good way to learn many things for example improve your English, because when you read learn many expressions, idioms, vocabulary and you can improve your reading skills.

In Mexico not many people like to read than others countries for example United States where the parents encourage their children to read but Mexico is a country where there isn’t the culture of the reading.

In my opinion the reading is important on our lives some of us read for pleasure, other ones read for develop their abilities and the reading can improve your imagination, when you read for example a novel you image what the characters are doing , image the conflict and the final of the story.

Try to look for book that you are interested, if you aren’t motivated you won’t finish it because you have lost interest in that book. Remember you want to convince yourself that reading in English can be fun.

The reading can be used to improve your pronunciation and speed in English, if you read aloud every night in a few days you’ll see the difference when read something in English.

For that reason I’m going to start reading right now!!!!!!!

My superstitions

Well, sincerely I don’t believe in superstitions but where I live the people do. I live in a rural area where everything is credible for the people. For example the people believe if you see an owl at night a person in your family will die; other is when you have a black hen this animal will bring you bad luck for many years. The people carry good luck charms to avoid these superstitions for example they put garlic with sabila behind the front door. And when the witches appear you must put a scissors under your pillow in form of cross and the witches don’t enter in your house.

If a witch appears above your house you have to pray twelve times to the right and to the other way round if you want to turn the witch in a normal person.

Another one when the hens sing after midnight a person died. And the dogs bark occurs the same is how they cry the death of a person.

If a wolf crosses in your path, you might happen an accident; you need to make a cross with saliva to avoid this superstition.
I don’t carry any good luck charms because I don’t believe them.

ONLY I BELIEVE IN THE FATE, WE MAKE OUR FATE.

My hobbies

I have several hobbies for example: I like reading romantic novels because when you are reading you can imagine the characters and the plot of the story. It is interesting because some novels have many words of others languages Italian, English, Greek, Danish, etc.

Other hobby is to chat on the internet, I think is good due to you can make new friends and know about their culture and customs. I have many friends on the chat they always tell me new things that I have never heard and sometimes they send me their photos.

I like to watch TV too. I try to moderate but when there are many TV programs that I’m interested. I don’t respect this rule, although my mother scolds me.

I would like to travel to others countries when a friend of the chat tells me about his country I feel exciting. I don’t mind spending many time reading or watching TV but the most important duty that I’ve never forgotten is studying.

Listening to music is another hobby that everybody has; don’t you feel good when you listen to music after an exam? In my case, yes. You feel relaxing when you were stressed.

The Exam`s day.

Today was a stressful day because we had the English`s exam. For me the exam was ok but for others it was difficult. I saw some of my classmates studying at that moment, because the teacher cabrales gave us 10 minutes to review the book. in the exam I was concentrated and doing the exercises carefully. The teacher cabrales told us that we didn't want for our teacher, but I think he is a good teacher but he needs to do the class interesting because a good teacher tries to make that his students participate in class , searching methods to realize it.

AND THIS DAY all faculty was empty because today was holyday. we always are the " ñoños" of the all careers. we always go to the school in holidays due to the teachers say us that they are going to go that day although it is holiday.

now Iam writing in the blog , trying to do the blog the twice that the teacher wants, although this isn`t a habit for me because I`m not good at writing my life style but I'm trying to practice my English.

My worst day

Today was my worst day I`ve had. First My alarm o'clock didn`t ring and I got up late, I didn`t watch my favorite tv show. Second my brother needed my computer when I was working in it for an important homework that I had to deliver. Third when I wanted to take a shower , my mother told me that there was no water. fourth the bus didn`t pass on time and I was late . Fifth I couldn`t do the nilse`s homework on the internet because I got up late. AT THIS MOMENT I'm trying to do the things carefully due to I don`t want to have bad luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Feel comfortable

I think fashion is about you doing your own thing with your clothes. It builds creativity, that's why I don't like uniforms because everyone looks the same!
I've never been one to go with trends or fads or whatever. I wear what I'm comfortable in and what I like and I don’t mind what anybody thinks. I've never been one to try to impress or keep up with anyone. Regardless of how I'm dressed I'm just as good as anybody. And so is everybody else.
Fashion is expressing the real you by the way you want it to be expressed. Every one is unique and let me tell you it's a challenge to be really fashionable. Once it is accepted by majority it becomes a trend and then a tradition. I think Fashion is the first evidence of creativity but the most important is to feel comfortable.
I love to feel comfortable with my clothes and very funny used properly although you aren’t with the fashion.

Feel comfortable that´s all that matters.

What do you think of the time we spent watching TV?

I think that watch TV can relax you when you are tired. Of course, television, in moderation can be a good thing, but sometimes there are people that watch many hours in front the TV is bad for them. Because the TV can affect your body for example exposure to artificial light can contribute to hyperactivity, loss of vitality, aggression, heart disease, cancer. If you spend too much time in front it everyday you can get these diseases. I read in an article that in a year, the young people spend 900 hours in school and nearly 1,023 hours in front of a TV. It is incredible to read this information but is true. In my opinion the TV is relaxing when I was tired and worried , buy I don’t spend many hours watching TV because I don’t have time and I prefer to read than watch TV and with the reading can learn something better than the TV. And the TV only teaches to have bad habits for example to buy cigarettes or drink alcohol. The TV also has TV shows interesting that can teach you something good.
People who watch a lot of TV change their behaviors because the TV has an effect on them. TV is chock full of programs and commercials that often depict risky behaviors such as sex and substance abuse as cool, fun, and exciting. It is good to watch TV but with moderation. TV can be an excellent entertainer. No doubt about it -

Last weekend, On saturday I did many things , I did the laundry, washed the dishes, and in the evening I watched tv.

On sunday, I swept and mopped my house, after I studied English and the parts of a story in literature.

I finished very tired.....
